November 2007

November Roundup!

Here are the last of the pics from November 2007... the ones that just didn't fit into any other pages.

First up, a few pics from one of my favorite places around Dallas to ride: Northshore. Ben and Chris finish up a lap.

Not only is it a challenging and varied trail, but it's basically on the shoreline of Grapevine Lake. Can't beat finishing a ride with this view.

Vic and I hung around to see some of our friends finish, and I set the 15sec exposure up to catch this shot of them coming back to the parking lot.

I talked Amy into trying out the Burley behind the tandem, so we hooked it up...

loaded the kid...

and headed out to the park!

It worked great! (By the way, these few pictures convinced me that "widescreen" mode is not the best for everyday shots. Except for the first one of the tandem... that worked pretty well.)

Working on getting different faces/reactions...

Got the elusive smile! Of course, this was over a month ago, and he's smiling like crazy at everything now!

And back to the stare.

Let's try it again... we loaded up the tandem and trailer, and drove over to the Chisholm trail.

Snug! Turns out he loves this. Sleeps right through it, or looks out the windows at all the trees going by.

Pretty good setup! We both get exercise, and he gets used to the whole bike thing!

Just some random cute pictures.

Awww!

Kung Fu! Give me the milk!

So fast, you can't even see the nunchuks!

Ok, that wore me out. Naptime again.

Diaper time! Poor kid's got Dunlop disease.

An eyeball.

Two (sleepy) eyeballs.

Lunch with Tina!

Passed out kid. What was that about horizontal stripes?

Sup, dad?

Another ride at the Chisholm trail... click the player below to see the video Amy shot while we rode.

We stopped for a little while to see the ducks and take some pictures.

Man, he looks so small!

Checking out the duck-type things.

"It's time for you to drag me back home."

The Swing. A magical invention.

Chillin' in the crib.

Word.

Like a little mummy! It was getting colder, so we bundled him up for this walk around the park.

Never noticed the sweet gum leaves changing like this before... weird, huh?

Can't get enough of outside. Cool!

Black and white because it's artsy.

Still in artsy mode.

A very artsy duck. Trying to get away from me.

Ha! A Hairnado!

A little snooze on the couch.

Bathtime!

Who doesn't love bathtime?

We even tried out his MEGASAUCER! It's still a little too MEGA for him though. Had to jam mr. soccer ball in there to keep him upright.

The trailer was working so well, I started taking him with me on solo rides to the Chisholm trail.

Pretty much passes out as soon as I load him up! We're up to about 20 mile trips now, fuss-free!

Wandered by this house on the way back from one ride... remember this?

Bear gets a workover with... The Furminator! Darn thing works, too!

Aww!

This was Amy's first day back to work, and Kaiden got to hang out with me in his bjorn. Took a picture so Amy could see that her guys were doing well!

Almost forgot... one last video to show. This is a terrible way to end the wrapup of a great month, so skip it if you want to, but here's the video of Kaiden getting his 2 month shots at the doctor's office. Two women gave him two sets of two shots while Amy held him down... well, he didn't like it. Sorry little dude! It's for your own good!
